Mary Chapin Carpenter’s New Album, Tour
Mary Chapin Carpenter’s 12th studio release “The Age of Miracles” is set to drop on April 27, 2010. This follows up 2007’s Grammy nominated “The Calling” and her 2008 Christmas-themed “Come Darkness.”
Carpenter co-produced the album with long-time collaborator Matt Rollings. It was recorded in Nashville and mixed by Chuck Ainlay.
Mary will also be hitting the road in support of her new record. The tour kicks off June 19 in Charlottesville, VA, and continues on through August. For a complete list of cities and dates, visit marychapincarpenter.com, and pick up your Mary Chapin Carpenter tickets before it’s too late.
Also on April 27, Mary will be honored at the Newseum’s “Freedom Sings” in Washington, DC, where she will be presented with the Spirit of Americana Award. This award “recognizes artists who have used their work to raise awareness and promote free speech through their music and other efforts.”
